The
Geotechnical Engineering Division
of Lippincott & Jacobs Consulting
Engineers comprises licensed professional
engineers and skilled AutoCAD operators
with years of experience in subsurface
investigation and design. We understand
that the conditions below the surface
of the ground can greatly affect
the feasibility of the project
- physically and financially.
Our engineers have applied their
expertise to a variety of geotechnical
engineering projects, including
investigations for one to 50-story
buildings, dams, bridges, pavements,
elevated water tanks, cell towers,
earth support structures, soil
surcharge with wick drains, grouting
and remediation of distressed
structures. Other projects include
pile installation, compaction
grouting and shallow and deep
foundation projects for major
industrial, office, retail and
medical facilities.
Our staff of engineering professionals
has been trained and educated
in the methods of foundation
design for the soil conditions
of the Mid-Atlantic region. As
geotechnical professionals it
is our responsibility to evaluate
those conditions thoroughly to
provide our clients with the
most reliable information on
which to base their design and construction
decisions.
